Bottom of plate, never seen. I would bet this is a foundry date. 25, November, 1919.

A piano technician used this card (about 4" by 6") , folded to about a one inch square
to shim the sustain pedal lever. A piece of Americana that I thought might interest you.
As far as I know this probably dates from around 1951.

So here's a barely legible piano tech's name and date from Jan 13, 1948. His name is Wearatrom or something similar. A strange name I can't make out even magnified.
Anyway he might taken the flyer out of his pocket and used it to adjust the pedal.
