Dear Family or Friend,
This coming July 17 and 18, 2003 I will be part of my nephew Cole's team at Relay for Life. As some of you may know, Cole was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2002 when a 5-pound tumor the size of a nerf football was discovered on his left hip. As a result of that he underwent over 30 radiation and 14 chemo treatments. His entire left pelvis was removed.
The Relay For Life is a 24hr walkathon at the Cabrillo College track. That same year a Decorated Marine Corp Vet was so moved by Cole's fight with cancer that he removed every one of his medals and gave them to Cole, saying “your fight with cancer was harder than anything I've gone through.” He continues to call Cole from Iraq.
Your tax-deductible contribution would be greatly appreciated.
Cole has been cancer free since his surgery.
If you would like to participate, please make your check out for any amount to the American Cancer Society. I must receive all contributions by June 23. Mail to Fenton Murray, 110 Hastings Lane, Watsonville, CA 95076. Email fmurray@cruzio.com or call me if you have any questions. 831-722-6742. Please forward this to anyone you think might be willing to help. Like your entire address book, it just takes a couple of clicks for a good cause.
Thank You,
Fenton
